This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as a valued colleague in a high performing team within the dynamic prepared category. There is great opportunity building on the delivery of KQI’s to really drive quality within the ready meal sector to continue to step change the Customer offer. Working with established UK supplier partners across multiple sites there is also a push in this area for stepping forward site standards, an excellent platform to develop and showcase your technical skills. An exciting and fast paced product area to stretch your product knowledge, influencing and product management skills. Working within a well-respected and collaborative NWT to deliver quality and value, with the support of other prepared technical colleagues.
- Relevant experience/qualification(s) in food safety /manufacturing.
- Relevant product area knowledge/experience of delivering safe, legal, responsibly sourced, quality products to the customer
- Knowledge of legislation and technical standards
- Understanding of risk and risk assessment
- Understanding of end to end Incident Management process
- Customer focused
- Strong Initiative with proactive ways of working
- Personable and able build strong relationship and collaborate with all stakeholders and suppliers
- Analytical; able to interpret data and make decisions; even if all facts are not available
- Able to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Agile and open minded in approach
- Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office packages
- Previous relevant experience and a proven, successful track record of delivering safe, legal and ethical products to the customer is essential
