The Land's End Coffee Company is a specialty coffee roastery and café dedicated to sourcing, roasting, and serving exceptional coffee. We are passionate about every aspect of coffee, from the bean to the cup, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Barista and Roastery Assistant.

**Working hours are 8:45am-3:15pm, with shifts available Thursday to Sunday.**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barista and Roastery Assistant. Based at our converted shipping container coffee shop, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers while also supporting our roasting operations (including packing orders for customers). Full training for this will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café and roastery, including cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by communicating effectively with team members and supporting their efforts as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided as required.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn about all aspects of coffee production and preparation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
