Builder/bricklayer

**About us**:
Huntapac Produce Ltd is a fourth-generation family-owned business which was established in 1942. Nestled in a small village in the heart of Lancashire, we specialize in growing, packing and distributing a variety of root vegetables.

We are looking for experiences **Builder/Bricklayer **to join our busy **Fabrication team.**
- **Main Responsibilities**:

- Working on a wide range of projects which include:

- brickwork, flagging, concreting and more.
- Working across various local sites including our main site at Tarleton

**Others Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Lay brick and stone to construct walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
- Cut and trim bricks and stones to fit specific dimensions
- Mix mortar and spread it evenly to hold bricks in place
- Use various tools such as trowels, levels, and jointers to ensure accurate and level surfaces
- Repair and restore existing brickwork or stonework
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and welders, to complete projects

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a brick mason or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and mortar
- Familiarity with trim carpentry techniques for finishing touches
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and precision in bricklaying techniques

Mash Farm, Mash Lane, Hesketh Bank, Preston, PR 46XT.

**Starting and finishing time will be between**:
07:00AM and 05:00PM - 8h a day, between 37.5h and 40h a week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.50 per hour
