Builder/bricklayer

_**URGENT - IMMEDIATE START **_

We're looking for an experienced **BUILDER/BRICK LAYER** to join the team in Barrow - starting as soon as possible.

We specialise in the conversion of residential terraced housing into HMOs and have a number of projects under construction - with more in the pipeline.

The work is mainly in the LA14 area, but you’ll need to be able to move between different projects at various stages of conversion - for this reason a full UK driving licence and own transport are essential - as are own tools.

You need to have proven experience in all aspects of the building work/brick laying - including but not limited to - tiling, chimney bridging, concrete lintels, steel beams, fixing floorboards, ground work/drainage, snagging - and if you have experience in refurb projects or HMOs, all the better.

We’re looking for someone who can fit in easily into an already established team, who’s flexible in their attitude and able to communicate well with multiple trades; as well as being reliable to work unsupervised. Punctuality and reliability are key.

Following a successful trial period, this is a full time permanent position.

We work Mon to Fri, 8am - 4pm, with 30 minutes for lunch - overtime/weekend work available when needed.

- Building: 3 years (required)
- Bricklaying: 3 years (required)
- Masonry: 1 year (preferred)
