**Job Description**:
Position Purpose

Digital is a fundamental element of the Brambles transformation strategy. We will use our existing and new digital capabilities and information to power smarter more sustainable supply chains allowing us to reimage how we work and serve customers; reshape how we manage our assets and reinvent our business models allowing greater partnership with customers which solve customer problems.

Across Brambles, our Digital activity is focused on three ‘Big Rocks’ of Asset Digitisation, Digital Customer Solutions (DCS) and Advanced Analytics. While Asset Digitization and Advanced Analytics are primarily centred on driving internal growth and profitability, the focus of Digital Customer Solutions (DCS) is to drive value for Brambles’ current and future customers by solving their challenges across their supply chains.

You'll help to help establish and execute a unified design strategy for DCS, bridging future thinking and long-term innovation with day-to-day tactical design needs. You'll ensure user centred design thinking and promote UX best practice across multidisciplinary teams and DCS leadership.

Major/Key Accountabilities
- Strategy: Co lead with product triad on establishment of DCS product vision, responsible for setting up and ensure delivery of the DCS UX strategy.
- Design Leadership: Leading UX Design function within the DCS team so that the team has a clear direction, supporting and reinforcing high standards and managing quality of outputs.
- Advocacy: Promoting user-centered design across DCS leadership and teams while collaborating with product triad leadership to establish end-to-end solution lifecycle practices, from concept to benefit delivery or market launch, and sunsetting
- Pipeline management: Ensure that there is a steady pipeline of work for the DCS UX Team, with documented and prioritised demand and expected outcomes.
- Responsible for setting targets and timelines.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Stablish/foster collaborative working partnerships with others in product triad leadership to co-create, design, build, deliver and run solution strategy.

Experience
- 10+ years' experience in design leadership roles, preferably in consultancy/agency, with exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies and business environments.
- Experience of working in a corporate, matrix organisation also beneficial.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Excellent People Management skills to lead and work cross functionally.
- Comfortable setting up and leading a user centred design approach in a start-up environment.
- Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
- Comfortable advocating for UCD, challenging and collaborating with cross functional leaders.
- Strong organizational, collaboration skills and ability to influence multi-disciplinary stakeholders
- Self-driven and motivated with strong desire to learn.
