Pathways to Recovery has been serving the community of Warrington since 2007. We are based in our busy Bold Street premises in the heart of Warrington, and we are currently looking for** Recovery Coordinator.**

This position will collaborate with Warrington probation service, stemming partly from the Government's new national Combatting Drugs Strategy. It's part of our local partnership vision to strengthen our work with the criminal justice system, particularly Warrington probation, to support service users on community treatment requirements like DRRs and ATRs.

Reporting to the Criminal Justice Team Leader, you'll be responsible for providing intensive assessment and case management services to a caseload of offenders with complex needs.

We're seeking an individual with a solution-focused approach to help service users address various challenges including substance misuse, mental health concerns, and offending behaviour. We also need someone who shares our ambition to support partner agencies in reducing reoffending and addressing the number of drug and alcohol-related deaths.

You'll become an integral member of the criminal justice team, expected to contribute to the overall service by supporting our service users, ensuring good governance and quality operations, and maintaining an authentic focus on service users.

You should be a good communicator, transparent, and candid in your relationships with our service users, colleagues, and stakeholders across the Warrington partnership.

**Salary**: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 Pro Rata (dependent on experience)

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
- Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
- Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
- Work in partnership with National Probation service and other appropriate agencies
- Deliver relevant interventions in line with National Probation Service (NPS) and Licence /PSS requirements
- Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery
- Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods have taken place, reviewing progress and identifying concerns with service users
- Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the service users, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc

**About you**:

- Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
- Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour.
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and/or experience of working within criminal justice or related field.
- Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships and/or working within a multiagency system/team.
- Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
- A clean driving license and access to your own transport.
