Inventory Controller

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller to sit within the EU Inventory Control team, based in our newly redesigned London office. You will be reporting into the Inventory Control Manager, Womenswear working closely with the Merchandising Planning, Store Operations and Logistics teams.
As an Inventory Controller for UNIQLO Europe, you will support in season inventory management across all our stores in Europe, as well as our E-Commerce platform. You will work closely with the inventory control manager as well as the merchandising planning and store operations team to understand and execute the planned inventory strategy for your selected product areas.
What you will be responsible for- Manage system settings to ensure the correct distribution of stock between each store and EC based on the latest sales situation.- Optimise inventory between each store for your product category and define actions needed to do so.- Work with store operations team and each countries COO to define the strategy for your region by undertaking relevant analysis to support decision making.- Manage the key KPI’s for your product area and country including weeks cover, out of stock, inventory vs. target- Identify and action stock consolidations where necessary- Investigate any store queries and provide solutions- Support the continuous development of processes and procedures to drive efficiencies on the department.
Experience- 5 years + of experience within a stock management role within a stock planning function.- Previous experience within the fashion retail industry is an advantage
**Skills**:
- Detailed understanding of relevant metrics and KPI’s relating to inventory management- Analytical and numerate with advanced excel skills required- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the business.
