**Hours**:39 hours per week
**The role**:
We are seeking Child Support workers to join an incredible organisation providing support and education to young children between the ages of 6 to 12 years old who have come from traumatic backgrounds.
The service is a 24 hour programme which focuses on helping children to form positive relationships and enable them to increase their self estee, and acquire the skills they need both at home and at school.
**Shifts**:
We have both day and night shifts available depending on your preference.
On day shifts you will be working on a rota which includes 1 weekend day per week and working 39 hours on a full time basis.
On Nights you would be working 4 on, 4 off and from 10pm - 9am.
**Skills / Experience**:
**Please note you must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle**
You will be a passionate individual who takes pride in seeing others succeed through the support you offer.
Ideally with a background in Child Support or education we are seeking people who want to make a difference to the children they support.
You will be comfortable with providing personal care when necessary and also in dealing with challenging behaviours with a strong understanding of safeguarding.
An NVQ would be preferable however there is also an opportunity to progress and complete NVQ’s funded by the organisation.
