We have an exciting opportunity to join our volunteer services team as the Volunteer Services Support Officer. The volunteer services team work across our sites to recruit and support volunteers, develop new volunteering opportunities to support and enhance our services, and promote volunteering at Hampshire Hospitals.

The Volunteer Services Support Officer will provide administrative support and assistance in the recruitment process; administration and coordination of recruitment, selection, and onboarding activity; record management; managing volunteer communications and supporting the team to develop new volunteering opportunities.

You will have the ability to problem solve and can readily adapt to changing priorities, working as part of a wider team. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role working with the public and volunteers.

**Main Duties**:
The Volunteer Services Support Officer will are responsible for:

- Manage and prioritise administrative support to the Volunteer Services Team including, but not limited to; maintaining and updating relevant volunteer management systems, monitoring and supporting volunteer recruitment processes and sending out relevant communication
- Actively represent and promote HHFT Volunteer Services within the organisation and the community
- Analyse and deal with routine problems, following Trust policy and using own initiative to ensure seamless support for the team, volunteers, colleagues, and the public

We are a supportive and encouraging team who are committed to working and learning together to ensure every volunteer has a positive and rewarding experience and to increase the number of volunteers who support us to care and improve patient experience.
