Our well-established expanding client in Leamington Spa are currently looking for an outstanding Financial Controller to join their team, this is a brand-new role. You will be responsible for a team of 5 Accounts Assistants.

**Main duties include**:

- Lead and supervise the day-to-day accounting duties to ensure the department runs smoothly
- Oversee team processing, sales ledger and the general ledger/purchase ledger
- Improve operational strategies
- Banking, processing incoming and outgoing payment, reconciliations and payment runs
- Regular training and 121's with the team
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Previous management experience
- Qualified as an Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA or QBE)
- Knowledge and competence with SAGE
- Experience working within an accounts department
- Excellent IT and excel skills with strong attention to detail
- Integrity and discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
