Specialty Group Facilitator

Of graduate calibre, the successful applicant will have relevant experience acquired from working in the NHS or academia, ideally within a research or research governance environment. Attention to detail and excellent IT skills are essential. You will be a confident and clear communicator possessing excellent organisational, verbal and written skills. You will interact with a multidisciplinary team in a busy office environment, which will often require good time-management and a proven ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload in an efficient and co-operative manner. You will thrive on the concept of working as part of a team but also enjoy the autonomy within your role to further develop your skillset.

The Specialty Group facilitator will play a key role in supporting the local Clinical Research and Specialty Leads and the Operational Management Team (OMT) in the delivery of national and local objectives. This role involves collation, processing and communication of information relating to the performance and needs of the local clinical specialties. The post holder will also be responsible for providing administrative support to local specialty meetings. These meetings bring together researchers, clinicians, academics, nurses and allied health professionals from across the Local Clinical Research Network (LCRN) geography. The post holder will support the Specialty Leads and Research Delivery Managers to help further develop relationships within and between specialties
