We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our small, friendly Bid Team made up of four professionals. It’s our job to create compliant and compelling proposals, putting MASS in the strongest possible position to secure the business it is bidding for.
This role will help us communicate our services and offerings to our customers, enabling us to secure future contracts. This will be our first dedicated writing position within the team, we expect the team size to grow in the future, so this presents a great career development opportunity for the right person.
Reporting to our Head of Bids, this role could be based from either our Lincoln or St Neots Office. We tend to work three days in the office and two days from home, giving you the best of both worlds: flexibility and collaboration.
**How you’ll support us**
You will create high quality copy and persuasive content, developing your ideas and concepts with the technical experts around you.
- Creating responses to bid/tender documentation with a high degree of accuracy, addressing key points in customer requirements
- Developing propositions that succinctly and engagingly describe our products and services to a varied audience
- Gaining an understanding of the business landscape of our customers to inform the descriptions of appropriate services and tailor them to relevant business problems
- Liaising with those developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers

To compliment the existing Bid members, we’re hoping you’ll come with a team spirit, you’ll be a skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. You’ll be able to help us explain our technology and our digital service offerings clearly and in appropriate language, depending upon the audience.
Whilst you do not need industry experience, we are looking for someone able to translate technical information and convert it into compelling, easy to read narrative.
