**Senior Recovery Navigator - Fixed Term 12 Months**
- **Working hours**: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm Friday 9am-4:30pm- **About the Safeguarding Families Together (SFT) Team**:
Working as part of the REACH and Children’s Safeguarding Families Together service, the post holder will provide high quality support and interventions to Dorset families as part of the Safeguarding Families Together Team. You will be working with adults with substance misuse related problems to achieve their goals and improve outcomes for their whole family.- The purpose of this post is to reduce substance misuse related harm to the individual and their families, by eliminating the negative impact on children of parental substance misuse. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within Children’s services to support parents and carers to keep their children safely at home by supporting them with their recovery.
- **About you**
- Have an understanding and knowledge of substance misuse, including the treatment and interventions available.
- Have experience managing a busy caseload, with excellent organisational skills.
- Have experience contributing to group supervisions, team meetings and case conferences.
- Knowledge and understanding of policies related to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
- Work well in partnership with colleagues and other organisations to help improve outcomes for our clients.
- Social Care qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
