Main Responsibilities
- Administer the daily maintenance of all changes to current contracts and liveries for both NHS and OTC products.
- Generate, analyse and compare monthly product file updates for key systems including standard cost updates tariff price updates and external pricing updates.
- Complete the daily and monthly maintenance of all pricing/reserve stock and product flags for the wholesale sales system (BA3)
- Maintain the full end to end product set up, pricing and routing of all products held within the BA3, AWARDS and PMR systems to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.
- Update the monthly price files these include C&D, Drug Tariff, External Customer Contracts and Scottish Drug Tariffs.
- Assess various and conflicting daily resolution of product routing or set-up queries, received off various departments.
- Regular maintenance of the product substitutions and alternative codes within AWARDS
- Maintenance of Order Manager rules, products and routing
- Mapping of all NHS/OTC and surgical lines within Master Data services

**Problem solving & change**:

- Understand the interaction and dependencies of the two inward supply chain systems AWARDS and the PMR
- Appreciation off NHS Pricing and Reimbursement to ensure accurate tariff pricing is maintained within AWARDS
- Recognise the end to end product routing within the system and understand the product coding and family hierarchies the products slot within

**Key knowledge and skills required for the role**:

- Competent in IS skills including Excel
- Understanding of the complexities of the supply chain and its external suppliers as well as understanding of both the NHS and OTC ranges
- Logical thinking and ability to carry out small analytical projects.
- Ability to keep processes and procedures under control and make suggestions for improvements
- Excellent communication skills across a variety of business units and ability to work under pressure and to agreed timescales.
