Sheridan Maine is pleased to be working with one of the leading and most rapidly growing insurance brokers.They are internationally headquartered and are seeking an Accounting and Administration Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.This positionwill suit either a qualified or part-qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
**Responsibilities of the Accounting & Administration Manager will include**:

- Manage and support a team ensuring accurate accounting and financing operations are performed in a timely manner
- Actively pursue improvements on accounting and finance operations
- Maintain and reconcile the Client Bank Accounts
- Support the team with year-end statutory audit and client money audit
- Production of a range of reports
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with external auditors and provide support where required
- Providing general administrative duties
- Booking accommodation and flights for business trips
- Ordering office supplies/dealing with post
- Administration of staff corporate credit cards
- Maintenance of data on the company system

**The successful Accounting & Administration Manager will require the following skills and experience**:

- Have proven experience in a similar role
- Have strong accounting skills and experience
- Experience working under FCA regulations and implementing practices
- Experience of using SAGE software
- Be proficient in Excel
