**People Operations Administrator**

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our dedicated People Operations Team in a permanent role. We are looking for an individual that is as passionate as we are in providing a fabulous service to our stakeholders and contributing towards creating pubs to be proud of by being guest obsessed and continually raising the bar.

Marston’s run 4 payrolls for approximately 10,500 employees - this is a great opportunity to be part of the team that ensures that this all runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with current legislation.

This role sits within our People Operations Team and will involve accurately processing all elements of the employee lifecycle across the business, using our HR System and Onboarding solution. You will have involvement with contracts, systems and our weekly payroll, so there will be plenty of variety and lots of opportunities to learn and develop in a busy HR Team.

Key responsibilities
- Support with the provision of contracts through our onboarding solution and the collation of new starter and transfer information. Liaise with the wider operational HR team regarding any queries.
- Involvement with weekly payroll processes, ensuring that the necessary checks are completed for our weekly paid new starters. including the correct right to work documents.
- Process changes to employee records on the HR system and confirm any changes in writing to the employee.
- Chase any outstanding documentation needed for monthly payroll processes.
- Communicate confidently and courageously with the Operational and Resourcing teams regarding terms and conditions and processes.
- Update and record outcome of pre-employment medical questionnaires on the HR system, liaising with the HR Business Partner and Employee Relations Partner where required.
- Liaise with Support Services with regards to Council Tax to ensure deductions from payroll are accurate for our live on Pub teams.
- Process any Tupe changes, including starter and leaver actions and the collation of necessary documentation.
- Manage all documents in line with legislation, GDPR requirements, Company policy & procedures and working practices.

**What you’ll bring to the table -**
- Ideally educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) with 5 GCSEs.
- We are looking for someone that enjoys working as part of a close team, with a positive approach and curiosity to learn.
- We support a variety of stakeholders every day so you will need excellent communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
- An appreciation for the importance of compliance around the legislative area of our role and a keen eye for detail.
- Enjoys working with numbers and problem solving.
- IT and systems savvy with strong administrative skills. Experience of a HR System is preferable but not essential, as we will provide full training.
