REED are exclusively supporting an exciting organisation in King's Lynn, recruiting for the position of **Inventory Coordinator**
Part time position working 21 hours per week, flexible on the work pattern.
Maternity Cover for 12 months. There could be scope for extension or to go permanent after dependant on business needs.

The Inventory Coordinator will support in maintaining and updating all pricing related to shipping, deal with and resolve price queries with the shipping company, and benchmark shipping costs on a quarterly basis to ensure the best price possible. You willalso record, monitor and communicate product amendments such as quantity changes or product updates.

**Responsibilities**
- Obtain prices from shipping companies to research and benchmark freight costs
- Update and maintain all shipping company pricing on a regular basis to keep records updated and management informed
- Administration and planning for the team, covering for purchasing as required
- Ordering from vendors and dealing with shipping schedule updates
- Approve all shipment invoices and deal with any queries

**Requirements**:

- Existing office administration experience. Experience working in an inventory/purchasing role would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain relationships
- Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Problem solving skills
- Able to make sound decisions independently
- Team working skills
- Driven and passionate about business success
- Adaptable and good use of initiative

**Package**:

- Salary of £22,000
- Hybrid working - home and office
