**Job Description**:
National Care Group (NCG) is a leading provider of care and support services to vulnerable adults throughout the United Kingdom. We work closely with the people we support, their family members, local authorities and care providers to provide high quality, person-centred support across the following services: supported living, residential care, outreach, home support, day opportunities and a specialist college.

**We are currently recruiting for a Regional Quality Business Partner to join our team covering the Southwest and Wales region.**

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Conduct regulatory-based inspections of National Care Group services to make sure they are operating in line with statutory requirements and nationally agreed best practice for adult social care services.
- Develop individual inspection plans which details activities, timelines and priorities and ensures capacity to schedule and manage inspections using NCG agreed formats based upon the Adult’s CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE) and Care Inspectorate of Wales standards.
- Support services to improve quality to enable National Care Group to provide outstanding outcomes for the people we support.
- Assess and analyse information from a range of sources in order to be effective in promptly identifying trends in respect of risks and concerns that may impact negatively on standards of quality and safety and indicate non-compliance.
- Ensure that judgements made are based on corroborated evidence and analysis and maintain an audit trail of evidence assessed.
- To report to the Quality Director, or in their absence the Chief Executive Officer, on progress and to highlight areas of risk and advise in respect of compliance action plans.
- To devise, plan and deliver information sessions for appropriate staff on relevant legislation and standards.
- To report in an effective and focused manner, prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders and share information about progress in relation to compliance.
- To use evidence of practice to support the development and maintenance of relevant policies and procedures across the organisation.
- To work with the Executive Assistant to support the development of systems for collecting, managing and presenting up to date and relevant quality information.
- Work with each service to develop robust development plans which demonstrate continuous improvement and innovation.
- To support the analysis of risk across services and the effective use of risk management and monitoring.
- To attend and contribute to all relevant meetings as appropriate to the role.
- Support the development of an Experts by Experience model as part of the inspection process.
- Promote the principles of positive behaviour support and active support.
- Support the Regional Operations Managers/ Heads of Service to review action plans within their regions and provide guidance as appropriate.
- As and when directed, to be involved in reviewing formal complaints and serious incidents adopting best practice and, when needed, using a root cause analysis to identify contributory causes and identify system failures or absence of systems and ensuring shared learning through the organisation.
- To ensure that people we support are placed at the heart of service delivery and desired outcomes are in line with NCG values.
- To work to ensure that the combined social care and education provision is providing consistency of approach.
- Experience at an operational level within a compliance, contract monitoring or commissioning role
- Experience of working in the field of mental health, learning disabilities and or autism
- NVQ 4/5 in Care or similar qualification
- Nursing qualification (desirable not essential)
- Ability to regularly travel nationally, overnight stays and remote work
- Must have experience of using electronic compliance system
- Must be able to support multiple services with quality action plans at the same time
- Experience in analysing data and acting on the intelligence
