**Role: Warrants Officer**

**Department: Local Policing Southbank (LPC Southbank)**

**Scale: SC3/4**

**Salary: £23,556 - £27,351**

**Location: Grimsby, Northeast Lincolnshire**

**Hours: 37 Per week (Full-time)**

**Contract: Permanent**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducts risk assessments in relation to carrying out the execution of Warrants.
- Receives intelligence/information from members of the public and external agencies and actively responds when necessary, ensuring relevant protocols are adhered to.
- The arrest of all persons wanted on Fail to Appear Warrants.
- Attending regular officer safety training, to be made aware of the use of handcuff and restraint techniques.
- Input and extract data/information from the Warrants Management System.
- Liaises with external agencies such as Crown Prosecution Service, Magistrates and Crown Court and the National Probation Service to achieve an effective partnership and working arrangements.

**What the role requires**:

- Experience of working with courts/CPS/Criminal Justice.
- Experience of working with the public, including problem solving and dealing with potential conflict situations.
- Confident and mature manner.
- Current full driving licence and will be expected to pass a Police Driving Test.
- Literate and Numerate and educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Good oral and written communication skills to deal with internal and external matters.
- General computer literacy.
