Rehabilitation Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen, to work with the Therapy Team at City Community Hospital where we provide Rehabilitation for Older People living in Oxfordshire.
City is a 15 patient ward, and you will work alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists as well as the wider Multidisciplinary Team. If you are an enthusiastic team player with motivation and willingness to learn, along with excellent communication skills, this is the job for you.
To support the Therapy Team in Assessment and treatment of inpatients as well as Discharge planning. Individuals must be able to work under pressure and organise their own workload whilst under the guidance of senior practitioners. Due to the nature of this role, it is vital that individuals can carry out moderate to intense physical activities throughout the working day, including manual handling of patients and delivery and fitting of therapy equipment.
You will be required to complete patients notes and other Admin tasks.

Clinical and Management Supervision is embedded in our practice.
To work effectively with key members of the Multidisciplinary Team in the hospital to promote and facilitate effective therapeutic patient care and discharge planning.
