We are currently recruiting for a band 4 Medical Secretary for the Southern Trust.

The postholder will will provide secretarial and administrative support to Consultant Psychiatrists in Learning disability as well as managing the administrative and clerical staff and undertaking their annual KSF appraisals. the postholder's duties include but are not limited to: Attending and Minute Meetings within the Unit; typing discharge letters, outpatient clinic letters on a daily basis. Updating PAS/PARIS system accordingly. Inputting information regarding ward attenders on the PAS/PARIS system ensuring all patient details contained are correct.
- This is a full-time role and is a temporary contract with the possibility of extension.
- Located in the Eden Centre, Portadown.
- Salary will be £12.25 per hour.

**Qualifications/ Experience**

**OR**
- 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language and Maths[2] or equivalent/higher qualification AND 2 years’ experience in a clerical/administrative role

**OR**
- 3 years’ experience in a clerical/ administrative role
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

**Other**
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
