**Senior 2D Animator**

Push Gaming is a dynamic and innovative game development studio specialising in creating top-quality, mobile-optimised online casino games. With a passion for gaming and a commitment to pushing boundaries, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to players worldwide.

We are expanding, opening new internal studios, and are looking for a superstar Senior 2D Animator to join us. You’ll play a key part in creating exciting and attractive slot games, as well as working with, and learning from, a great team who have experience working on some of the most successful titles in our industry.

**Location**: Remote/hybrid but you must be based in any of the following - UK, Poland, Spain, Malta.

**Salary**: Dependent on experience.

**What you’ll do**:

- Create high-quality storyboards and animations in Spine in all areas of the game from characters to backgrounds to game symbols and VFX
- Work closely with Art Leads, Game Designers and Developers to detail the goals and implement animations into the game.
- Receive feedback from art/animation leads, art directors and support them to meet the demands and expectations of the projects.
- Assist developers throughout the game development process.
- Take ownership of your own development to grow and learn.
- Use your experience to guide more junior members of the team.
- Produce concepts and mock-ups to help the decision making process.
- Optimise assets so that our games run smoothly.
- Designing recourse lean animations, still of high quality and performance for mobile devices.
- Good communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
- A desire to push animation in video-games to new levels of believability.

**What you'll bring**:

- 3+ years of experience in the slot industry, with a strong understanding of slot games mechanics.
- Excellent understanding of skeletal animation in Spine 2D.
- Knowledge of Adobe packages like Photoshop, After Effects.
- Understanding how to compile animations for a game pipeline
- A varied showreel that covers character animation, visual effects and storytelling
- Strong understanding of animation principles, such as key poses, squash and stretch, anticipation, follow-through, etc
- Ability to work within an art team, manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines
- Ability to develop various appealing animations and adapt to existing styles and guidelines set by Art Leads and Art Director
- A communicator with the ability to verbalise conceptual thoughts and with an openness to constructive criticism
