**Job Overview**:
We're looking for a fantastic lead animator to join our team and work on our next awesome slot games

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Create high-quality storyboards and animations in Spine in all areas of the game from characters to backgrounds to game symbols and VFX.
- Work closely with Art Leads, Game Designers and Developers to detail the goals and implement animations into the game.
- Lead the animators team on game throughout the entire game development cycle.
- Assist developers throughout the game development process.
- Take ownership of your own and your team’s development to grow and learn.
- Produce concepts and mockups to help the decision making process.
- Optimize assets so that our games run smoothly.
- Designing recourse lean animations, still of high quality and performance for mobile devices.
- Lead the recruitment of other animators in the team/studio.

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- More than 3 years of experience in the slot industry.
- Understanding of slot games mechanics.
- Good communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
- Experience to guide other animators in the team.
- Be a confident decision maker and challenge yourself.
- Support game development by solving problems and assisting the product as it evolves
- A desire to push animation in video-games to new levels of believability.
- Excellent understanding of skeletal animation in Spine 2D.
- Knowledge of other Adobe packages like Photoshop, After Effects.
- Understanding how to compile animations for a game pipeline.
- A varied showreel that covers character animation, visual effects and storytelling
- Strong understanding of animation principles, such as key poses, squash and stretch, anticipation, follow-through, etc.
- Ability to work within an art team, manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines.
- Ability to develop various appealing animations and adapt to existing styles and guidelines set by Art Leads and Art Director.
- A communicator with the ability to verbalise conceptual thoughts and with an openness to constructive criticism.
