Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our faculty as a Full-Time Lecturer in Nuclear Related Technologies. As a lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and training to our students, who are aspiring professionals in the nuclear industry. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lectures, practical sessions, and workshops, as well as assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on nuclear related technologies, covering topics such as nuclear engineering, reactor design, radiation safety, waste management, and nuclear regulations.
- Develop course materials, including lecture notes, presentations, and laboratory exercises, to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments, providing timely feedback to support their learning and development.
- Support and mentor students, providing academic guidance and career advice to help them succeed in their studies and future careers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the curriculum, ensuring its alignment with industry needs and emerging trends.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear related technologies, maintaining a strong knowledge base to enhance the quality of teaching and training.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- A relevant degree in a nuclear science or engineering discipline.
- A proven track record of professional experience in the nuclear industry, such as nuclear power plants, research facilities, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in nuclear related technologies, including reactor design, nuclear safety, radiation protection, waste management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Location: The position is based in Workington, United Kingdom. Workington is a vibrant town located in Cumbria, surrounded by beautiful countryside and within close proximity to the Lake District National Park. With excellent transport links and a thriving nuclear industry in the area, Workington offers a desirable location for professionals in the field.

**Salary**: £34,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
