Accounts Assistant

To reconcile stock on a monthly basis and provide general support to the department as a whole.
**Accountabilities**:
- Monthly stock reconciliation
- Budget v actual production labour reporting
- Fabshop and powder coat monthly review and weekly batch processing
- Running job cost reports, looking into costing queries and cost reallocation
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Checking weekly payroll
- Other general accounts work as required (purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll etc)
- Preparation and distribution of other weekly/monthly reports
- Provide essential cover for holidays/absences within the department
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and improving levels of service provided by the finance department
**Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills Required**
- Previous experience in a finance role
- Strong IT skills, preferably including Excel VLookup and Pivot Tables
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines and attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
