**Payroll and Subcontract Administrator**

Cara Group core business comprises Groundworks/Civils/Brickwork on Commercial and Residential projects of various values, up to around £10m. We are now seeking a Payroll and Subcontract administrator to join our team.

Processing payroll involves gathering employee information for that time period, processing within a time frame for the employee to be paid

**Main Duties**

Run weekly and monthly payrolls for all office and operational staff using timesheets, Sage and EQUE2 which are collated on a Monday.

Process leavers and new starters including P45’s

Maintain CSA, attachment of earning, etc. payments.

Run RTI and EPS submissions to the HMRC

Year end processing including P60’s

Up keep of the pension and submissions to the pension provider

Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, holidays.

Dealing with payroll queries

Any other ad-hoc duties, including updating payroll spreadsheets

Process subcontract payments on a weekly basis.

**Skills**

Knowledge of tax code legislation and Pension legislation

3 years minimum experience of Payroll

Worked with Sage 50 payroll

Desirable of working with EQUE2

Desirable CIPP qualification

Attention to detail and is organized

Maintain strict confidence and awareness of data protection laws.

Must be IT literate

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30 am until 5 pm based in the Irlam office.

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Payroll: 3 years (required)
- Sage 50 Payroll: 3 years (required)
