With a fast-growing provision Adult Education in Gloucestershire are looking for a Learning Co-ordinator to join our team. This role reflects the Councils agile working policy with the role requiring time in the office and community, but with the added flexibility to work from home if needed*

This role will require travelling across Gloucestershire, so access to a vehicle is essential.

You will work under direction of the Delivery manager and supervision of the Lead Co-ordinator to support the Service in the effective delivery of programmes in each curriculum area.

You will develop and implement Community learning, which sets out priorities and targets for engaging Adult learners through first Steps, Pre-employability, employability courses and programmes for those Adults with learning and physical disabilities and those with complex personal issues including mental-ill health, in addiction recovery etc.

**What will you be doing?**
- Work with partners and other key agencies to identify local learning needs and opportunities for reaching new learners in disadvantaged communities.
- Direct supervision of Tutor caseload.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for Community Learning activity, in terms of provision and potential partners.
- Work with the curriculum lead and quality manager to ensure that IAG services are delivered according to MATRIX, OFSTED and adult learning quality standards.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Access to a vehicle with a full clean UK driving licence
- Educated to GCSE level in Mathematics and English Grade C and above
- Organised and able to plan and write coherent educational programmes
- Engaging and committed to supporting Adults learn, be inspired, and achieve
- Good IT skills including the use of basic Microsoft packages
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills

**Desirable Criteria**:

- IAG qualification is desirable
- Working from home will require approval from Manager based on current service needs and requirements
