We’re expanding our Team Following an internal promotion of one of our team members we’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer focused person to join our team of Cemeteries Administrators. Working across our cemeteries and at the beautiful Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens you’ll be making sure that every customer receives the highest standard of service at an emotionally charged time.

Our cemetery sites and memorial gardens are peaceful places for families to remember their loved ones and the grade one listed memorial gardens at Stoke Poges are a place of great beauty and contemplation. You’ll be based mainly in the grounds of our Wycombe cemeteries and at Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens but will travel to cemeteries in Chiltern and South Buckinghamshire to meet the needs of our customers.

**About the role**:
As a Cemeteries Administrator, you will provide administrative support across our six cemeteries and memorial gardens, helping to ensure that the highest standards of care are delivered to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Responding to enquiries from customers, families and funeral directors.
- Taking bookings for burial and interment services, allocating graves for burials and handling memorial sales.
- Completing legal forms and collecting and recording statutory information on our cemetery administration systems.
- Overseeing contractors working on our cemetery sites, checking grave locations and meeting families to resolve enquiries.
- Calculating, processing and managing payments and invoicing.

**Fixed**

As a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.

**About you**:

- You’ll demonstrate relevant experience of working as part of a team to deliver a high level of customer service.
- You’ll be comfortable working in a customer facing role and have the ability to communicate effectively with families with sensitivity and compassion.
- You have good planning and organisational skills to ensure that cemeteries documentation is completed to deadlines.
- You have good literacy and numeracy skills with the ability maintain accurate records and respond to enquiries
- You have the ability to deal responsively and appropriately with mourners from a variety of faiths.
- Our customers are at the heart of what we do so an adaptable, forward-thinking and 'can-do' attitude is necessary to meet the needs of our communities.

This role is site based at Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens and Penn Road Cemetery, High Wycombe as part of a team of Cemeteries Administrators. It is offered on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week.
