**Career Consultant**

As a Project Based consultancy GSS work within many different areas therefore ensuring our consultants have a variety of niche customers to work with in a multitude of areas which ensures great success.

As a Careers Advisor you will need to be able to manage a client base of customers and provide pro-active Employability skills and careers advice and guidance utilising our range of different media, websites and targeted information provided.

You should be able to adapt yourself and your communications to suit our customers needs and be versatile enough to deal with different market sectors as well as having a keen desire and drive to aid customers in their career journey.

We envisage this position to be 4 days per week but could be full time in the near future.

You will need to be:

- An **experienced Consultant **with at least 2 years experience in delivering Careers Information, Advice and Guidance
- Able to work from our partnered offices in Woolwich and have good local labour market information and the desire to learn more.
- Able to conduct one-to-one /group careers sessions including: CV writing, Interview support, Pro-active job methods as well as use of social media within the employability market.
- Demonstrate your track record of success in providing careers support
- A non-judgemental attitude with excellent listening skills, attention to detail and a good knowledge of the current job market is an advantage
- Tenacious, driven, success orientated and ambitious to progress
- Strong communicator, imaginative, professional and able to build strong relationships with your customer base
