AM2PM Recruitment is looking for experienced Production Supervisors for our well-established client based less than 6 miles from Nottingham City Centre. This role will lead to a permanent contract following a successful 12-week temp period.

Industry leader in growing and packing in fresh produce. Family run business that has expanded for over 100 years across multiple sites in Nottinghamshire.

**Main Role Responsibilities**:
You will be a strong communicator, responsible for the Leadership of the production hall ensuring a safe, quality conscious, cost effective, efficient, and continually improving environment is created and maintained. You’ll lead an operational team across several production lines, work closely with factory floor colleagues as well as key teams such as Directors, HR and Maintenance.

Promote safe working as our highest priority and monitor for compliance against site safety standards.

Support the completion of accident and incident reports within your area of responsibility as required.

Excellent people skills and be passionate about achieving results through people is required, experience within an agricultural or food production background is preferable but not essential.

**Your Skills & Requirements**:
Ideally have previous experience of food manufacturing/agricultural background and machine operation

Previous experience as a Production Supervisor

Strong communication, machinery and people skills

Work well using own initiative as well as working part of a team, motivate and inspire team to achieve targets

**Salary, Benefits And Hours**:
Starting rate of £10.80 with significant increases from April, structured pay increases once trained, based on competency, and achieving targets, as well performance related bonuses.

Overtime paid after 40 hours at time ¼ (starting at £13.50)

Night shift overtime unsociable hours bonus pay

Standard hours are 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday, however flexibility is required during busy periods to ensure orders are completed and ready for dispatch. In turn, quieter months during the summer means you get to enjoy earlier finishing times
