Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia ( ST3+ or equivalent)

**Duration**: 12 Months

£51017 (ST3-5 Equivalent) - £58398 (ST6-8 Equivalent) plus additional pay elements appropriate to rota pattern.

Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia for 12 months. The job will offer full training and support. The post will include the ability to achieve CT3 competencies if deemed appropriate.

There are 2 posts available which have become necessary due to gaps in the regional rotation.

**Hours of work**: 48 (8 person full shift system)

Duties and Responsibilities of the Regional Fellowship post

The post would comprise a 48-hour working week to include a 1:8 full shift on call rota which would be either 1st(Emergency Theatre), 2nd(Intensive Care Airway Rota) or 3rd(Maternity) on call.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.

The Trust strives to continuously improve and sustain the quality of its services for patients, providing care to more than 445,000 patients per year, with almost 4,000 staff working together putting quality and patient safety, at the heart of everything we do.
