Due to internal movement we have an exciting vacancy for a **Cafe Supervisor** at Sodexo working at **Holyrood in Edinburgh**, you will be a warm welcomer and give the right first impression. Working in our restaurant and lounge bar, delivering excellent service to our customers. By serving, clearing, and cleaning the tables, you will improve the quality of life for those who we serve. **What you’ll do**:

- Be a vital part of the Front of house operation by supervising and ensuring our restaurant and lounge bar runs smoothly
- Provide excellent customer service with a dedicated and helpful approach
- Be responsible for the opening and closing of the restaurant and bar area
- Take responsibility for the serving, clearing, and keeping tables/ bar area spotless
- Use upselling skills to drive sales in line with targets
- Work with the hospitality team to deliver events
- Improve the quality of life for those we are serving

**What you bring**:

- Previous experience in a similar environment is essential
- Natural creative and innovative flair with a genuine love of food and an eye for detail
- Excellent management skills, with a desire to share knowledge and best practises
- Industry awareness from high street to high end cafes, and be aware of competitors for benchmarking purposes
- Ability to multi-task
- Professional, motivated, driven, flexible and enthusiastic
- Ability to innovate solutions and prioritise workload
