_José Pizarro group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish speaking, Senior buyer to join our team._
- As Senior Buyer, you are ultimately accountable for a vital role in the procurement process by sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food and beverage products for our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that procurement activities align with the company's goals and objectives while maintaining efficient and cost-effective purchasing procedures._
- In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the supply chain team, finance department, and culinary teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products. Your responsibilities will include optimizing operational financial costs for José Pizarro venues, thereby enhancing profit performance._
- **Senior Buyer Responsibilities**:_
- _Develop and implement procurement strategies for the food and beverage category in line with company goals._
- _Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers to secure favorable terms._
- _Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring performance and addressing issues._
- _Conduct market research to identify trends, conditions, risks, and opportunities in the food and beverage sector._
- _Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to meet procurement needs._
- _Monitor inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery of products._
- _Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews._
- _Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes._
- _Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and market conditions._
- _Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information._

- _Knowledge of laws and regulations related to food and beverage procurement._
- **Required Qualifications**:_
- _Proven experience as a Buyer or similar role in the food and beverage industry._
- _Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier management._
- _Proficiency in procurement software and tools._
- _Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in food and beverage procurement._
- _Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite._
- _Strong analytical and numerical skills._
- _Ability to travel as required._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £50,000.00 per year
