About You and this role

You will be responsible for the support and administration of the Barry OSI-PI system. Furthermore, you will be providing support for other European locations using OSI-PI systems across the European region (Barry, Seneffe, Terneuzen and Wiesbaden). While based at Barry, you will also become involved in projects and assignments that require travel to other Dow European locations for short periods. The position also requires participation in a 24 x 7 support scheme, joining an existing global team helping to provide emergency cover for Dows’ OSI-PI systems.

**Responsibilities**:- Provide telephone and site support to diagnose and resolve system problems in operating chemical production units.-
- Provide training of chemical manufacturing facility operations personal (i.e. quality, safety, process control, run plant and environmental personal). Work with MES Project Leads, Manufacturing Representatives, Process Control Engineers, Environmental Engineers, and Process Safety Engineers to develop, configure and implement their OSI-PI requirements.- Hands-on work in the field is required.

**Qualifications**:
- Master degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related-
- Good communication skills, ability to prioritize and able to work in high stress, time-critical work situations.

Additional Note- This role will require some on-call and after hours responsibilities. The role includes some flexibility to work from home for certain aspects of the job.- Relocation/Visa sponsorship is not aligned with this role
