Reed Specialist Procurement and Supply Chain recruitment are proud to be partnering with a forward thinking FMCG company based in Northumberland to recruit for the role of Logistics Manager.

This role is brilliant for an experienced Import, Customs, Export or Shipping manager to get their teeth into a new project.

An excellent wage which is supplemented by a bonus scheme for good performance.
- £40k - £50k (depending on experience)
- 8.30 - 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- Office based - Northumberland

Duties include:

- Line manager of 1 employee
- Arrange all import and export shipments to and from our UK warehouse
- Arrange direct customer shipments working with their appointed freight forwarders
- Work closely with suppliers to receive all necessary shipment documentation
- Manage all import and export customs entries
- Manage the HMRC Customs Warehousing processing and authorisation
- Courier and haulier account management
- Stay up to date with Brexit developments

The right person will have:

- Excellent knowledge of customs and declaration documents
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Good management skills
- The ability to work in a very fast paced environment
- Enjoyment for logistics and customs work
- A need to progress and continuously improve themselves
