We are a registered Charity established in 1986 (SCIO from 2020) accredited to provide Type III Free, Independent Housing Information, Advice, Advocacy plus Care Inspectorate regulated Tenure Sustainment Services. We work with vulnerable service users with our main aim to alleviate poverty and prevent homeless where possible. We assist those in housing need across South Ayrshire with an additional Prison Housing Advice Service for those from East Ayrshire.
You will be based in the Centre during our opening hours with flexible hours available to meet any family or personal needs.
As part of our team, you will provide office support to all staff to enable them to support their service users effectively. You will assist the Office & Compliance Manager and Reception Referral Officer with regular delegated tasks to ensure a safe, healthy and compliant office environment.
Applicants should have some experience of working with others in a busy office environment, with an interest in Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Information Management with a strong desire to learn and progress within a Third Sector organisation.
**Those with lived experience of homelessness and/or poverty are encouraged to apply.**
An aptitude for problem solving, performing under pressure, along with good organisational, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills are essential. Applicants with good typing and data processing skills are desirable.
