**About Us**

We are a fencing subcontractor mainly operating in the new house build sector based from Rushden, NN10. We have a supportive culture and are friendly and approachable. We have some flexibility with the number of hours and the daily working hours which can be discussed at next stage but loosely based on around 30 hours per week between the hours of 8am-9.30am start time and 3pm - 4.30pm finish time Monday to Friday.

Due to steady growth in our business operations we are looking for a general administrator who can also carry out some yard duties including stock take, goods in, general yard housekeeping.

**Overview**

General support and coordination of the daily, weekly and monthly tasks and objectives of the business supporting the Operations/Finance Team in various tasks. Housekeeping of yard and offices. Please see a more detailed list of tasks below.

**General daily/weekly tasks**

1. General office organisation including filing of all documents and drawings

2. Collating Measure Sheets from operatives on a weekly basis ensuring all are completed correctly in preparation for authorisation, chasing measure sheets and clarifying missing or incorrect information.

3. Collating and checking weekly Van Logs and recording of any vehicle defects and coordination with mechanical services provider.

4. Ensuring vehicle tax and MOT tracker is kept up to date and arranging vehicles to be sent for MOT or Service as and when required.

5. Supporting the operations team with any drawings they require to be printed or any other queries.

6. General office housekeeping, ensuring office and facilities are clean and tidy.

7. Answering incoming calls and query handling/message taking.

8. General yard maintenance ensuring outside storage areas are kept neat and tidy and ensuring grounds are free of obstructions

9. Taking deliveries, signing and checking delivery notes ensuring quality and quantity are satisfactory.

10. Weekly vehicle inspections

11. Stocktake of timber, concrete, fixings, aggregate and plant inventory and keeping plant logs up to date.

12. Any other tasks associated with operating and supporting the business.

The right person for the role would be someone who has
- Proven administrative experience
- Fully competent in Microsoft word, excel, outlook etc.
- Good communication skills
- Highly organised
- Some previous yard experience would be an advantage
- Good telephone manner
- Can do attitude
