**Job Description - Administrator**

- Salary: starting from £19,838 per annum with clear opportunities for career progression.
- Hours: 35 hours per week (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday).
- Location: office-based in Preston city centre - 4 Fleet Street, Preston PR1 2UT.
- Type: permanent contract.

**Who we're looking for**:
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about helping people with information, advice and guidance covering the full range of services LCF provides.

You will:

- Assess and triage enquiries providing initial support, signposting, and referring internally and externally based on client needs.
- Support the wider team by providing administrative and casework assistance to Advisors.
- Follow-up with clients including to capture feedback, ensuring successful outcomes are achieved and recorded.
- Ensure client case records are clear and accurate, and case management processes are followed to meet internal, regulatory and funder monitoring requirements.
- Successfully complete training milestones to develop in the role to provide more in-depth client support with reducing supervision.

To be successful in the role, you'll need:

- Administrative experience, including letter writing, managing processes, using information management systems, managing inboxes etc
- Understanding of, and ability to empathise with, clients from a diverse range of backgrounds including disadvantaged and/or vulnerable people living in the community
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, capable of dealing with clients in a professional, friendly and positive manner
- To be able to follow policies and procedures, with strong organisational skills that help you to meet deadlines, prioritise your own work and support others
- The ability to listen actively, asking appropriate questions to establish clients' needs and identify a course of action
- To be a confident computer user, able to quickly gather, research and accurately record information
