**The Role**:
To effectively devise, plan, deliver, and develop the site’s HSE and Technical compliance training programmes with the department heads with the aim of increasing staff competence and skill sets in line with driving overall site performance. Coordinating training across all departments and ensuring all records are kept up to date and on the job training is delivered to the right standards and operators are trained to a competent level.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all site training needs and requirements.
- Skill matrix implementation for all employees.
- Ensure training plans specific to each function are developed, managed, and implemented.
- Complete on-site training courses in line with training needs.
- Support in the management of job-specific training.
- Carrying out a gap analysis for training requirements
- Creating new work instructions and Sops
- Liaise with departmental managers to ensure training is completed and assessed
- Ability to deliver training on a one2one and classroom basis
- Owns and reviews the training system.
- Booking courses and ensuring all training equipment and course materials are in place
- Liaising with external training providers

**Essential**
- Advanced organisational skills and must be able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role.
- Ability to work creatively, and independently, to find solutions and also work collaboratively with appropriate supervision.
- Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.
- Extensive knowledge of L&D design theory and implementation.
- Extensive knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
- Experience with e-learning platforms.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Able to deliver training for levels 2 & 3 health & safety, food safety, and HACCP as well as internal audit training or be able to work towards.
- Strong communication skills.
- Collaborative way of working, team player.

**Desirable**
- Level 2 City
- Guilds to Training Skills (or willing to work towards).
- Experience in Lean manufacturing and food manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Experience working in a multilingual, multicultural team is desirable.
- Continual professional development
