**Chef Manager**

Uckfield, £16.82 p/h, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 7am until 3pm, 42 working weeks per year, excellent work/life balance due to term time only contract, pension scheme, employee assist programme.

**The Role
**Our client is looking for a highly motivated, sales driven Executive Chef Manager with a strong craft background who projects the love and passion they have for food. You will need to lead from the front at all times, so a strong management presenceis essential. You will hold weekly documented meetings showing a progressive approach to unit management. You will be required to:

- Develop and train a highly motivated seasoned team - leading them by providing an excellent dining experience
- Be proactive in the engagement of customers via school council meetings and assemblies
- Be responsible for managing and monitoring all areas of service and standards, including budgetary controls and targets
- Ensure all legal H&S and company policies are up to date and completed
- Provide high end hospitality functions throughout the year

**Requirements**_
- Will be an ambassador for the chefs within the site so a strong, forward thinking management style will be essential. Previous budget management and/or profit and loss responsibility. Creative, innovative and forward-thinking approach. Exceptional hands-onexperience. IT literate.
