**We have an opportunity for a Business Services Team Leader to join their team of staff in the Service Delivery department based in Cheadle, Cheshire.**

**This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week.**

**Applicants should meet the following criteria**:

- Experience in leading and managing a team, including the ability to motivate and manage a hybrid working practice
- Track record of delivery in a Finance Management role
- Experience of working with people at all levels of an organisation in the provision of finance activities.
- Strong technology skills, including computerised financial systems and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to quickly analyse data, identify key issues and trends and develop action plans to resolve issue
- Motivated to implement/deliver on time to quality standards
- Initiative and openness to change
- Highly energetic and driven to succeed
- Able to build good interpersonal relationships across a range of stakeholders
- Undertaking studies towards a qualification may be of benefit.
- Experience of working in the healthcare sector or a services-oriented would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time if required

**Duties of this role include**:

- Manage effective billing process and resolve issues escalated from Billing Teams
- Partner with Group Billing Manager and CBS Credit Control Management team to implement service reviews with Hospital Management, including:

- Contribute to service reviews
- Monitor Hospital Team performance against the service review
- Arrange logistics for service review meetings
- Ensure any proactive or remedial actions are executed
- Complete month-end activities
- Supervise, or undertake, invoicing of consultant’s accounts and sundry charges
- Supervise, or undertake the production of Consultants accounts and monitoring of the same
- Auditing of patient invoices to confirm accuracy
- Completion of Task Lists and Monthly Reporting requirements
- Deliver timely and accurate data to produce management information reports, and identify issues
- Provide advice to stakeholders on finance policy and process, and ensure adherence
- Ensure compliance with statutory and group obligations
