PA/Secretary to MD

A cosmetics manufacturing company based in Brandon is seeking a PA/Secretary to assist the MD with appointments, taking minutes of meetings and general administration. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a manufacturing environment and someone prepared to be hands on. This is a very fast paced and demanding role. You would need to have a sense of humour, be flexible with your hours, have a mature mind, proactive approach, positive/can do attitude and a sense of fun.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the day to day business activities and decision implementation
- Interacting regularly with key staff members (internal and external companies) including coordinating and attending meetings in order to ensure that business directions are followed as requested
- Liaising with the finance departments to ensure accuracy of data management across the organization and timely presentation of accounting info
- Maintain key project files
- Managing general tasks, gathering and creating documents for meetings
- Entering contacts, client meetings and meeting notes as required to ensure clarity for all business needs

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Have previous business experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in FMCG,
- Good experience in bringing about change in organizations and monitoring progress
- Be able to execute and implement business directives efficiently and proactively as required by the business owner
- Ability to take notes at get togethers internally/with others
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams
- Good Excel skills
- Extremely organized, efficient, flexible, excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- The ability to work well under pressure, manage workload and deadlines effectively
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work confidentially as and when needed

Salary is dependent on experience. Occassional work from home available.
