**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the school's adherence to health and safety and compliance policies.
- Identify potential risks and hazards, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the creation and review of risk assessments to enhance safety protocols.
- Staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintaining a register of all policies and updating them in line with legislation updates.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Desirable: Hold the IOSH qualification (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
- Essential: A strong willingness to study for the IOSH qualification (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
- Desirable: A degree in a related field, showcasing a solid academic foundation.
- Desirable: Experience within an educational environment, preferably a school setting.
- Desirable: Previous audit experience, demonstrating an understanding of compliance assessment.
- Desirable: Proficiency in risk assessment processes to identify and address potential hazards.
