**Collections & Recoveries Agent - 12 month FTC**

**Location**: Reading

**About the role**

This is a rapidly moving, hectic & multi-tasking environment, where you need to be able to handle high volume calls corresponding with customers in a fast paced and efficient manner. You will need to be solutions driven and have a competitive instinct, resilience in the face of pressure with a “whistle while you work” mentality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day to day management of late paying customers by telephone and written communication
- Making & taking calls to & from customers to establish reasons for non-payment
- Offering payment solutions to customers in order to restore non-paying customers to good book
- Negotiate agreeable repayment terms in accordance with FCA principals of TCF
- Quickly identify vulnerable individuals and escalate these cases with our special carry team
- Quickly identifying cases that require escalation to our Insolvencies team, Recoveries team, and potentially instructing agents where appropriate.

Leasing and Finance experience preferred but not essential.

- Knowledge of Consumer Credit Act and other regulatory requirements
