**Job Type**: Permanent Full Time

Location: Worthing

**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Start Date: Immediate

Hours TBC (Usual hours are between 9:00am to 5:00pm)

As Bookkeeper you will look after the Accounts process together with the existing team. You will need to ensure data entry, processing and recording of all transactions are accurate and timely. Assist with audits, fact checking and preparing budgets and reports. Ensuring credit control is managed effectively and vendors are paid in a timely manner and discrepancies are kept to a minimum. Experience of factoring is essential.

Key tasks include:

- Operation of all ledgers including general ledger, purchase ledger and sales ledger, ensuring all entries are reconciled and properly recorded.
- Receiving, processing, seeking authorisation for and paying all supplier invoices
- Assisting with the Payroll, where necessary
- Reconciling banking entries and investigating queries
- Prepare monthly VAT returns
- Preparing company and project P&Ls
- Tidying of books for year-end work
- Assisting with the company and ad hoc project budgets
- Maintaining good working relationships with all suppliers.
- Providing support to the Office and assisting with ad hoc queries as and when required
- Liaison with the Production Manager to develop & implement policies & procedures
- To help with procurement when the team require some assistance

Technical skills:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience within fast paced environment
- To work independently and as part of a team
- In depth knowledge of Xero, Sage or Quickbooks
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft products especially Excel
- Ability to work on their own initiative and accept responsibility, but also know when to ask for assistance
- Knowledge of Hubdocs
- Excellent spoken and written English
- AAT or PQ qualified

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
