Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a Worthing based accountancy firm, who are eager to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. This role will be managing a portfolio of clients, covering a range of bookkeeping duties.

Tasks will include:

- General bookkeeping services for a range of clients
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Regularly liaising with new and existing clients to handle queries and build strong working relationships

Desired experience and skills:

- Based in the local area and able to commute the our clients offices
- Have worked in an accountancy practice previously managing a portfolio of clients
- Proficient using systems such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Confident Excel user.
- Strong communication skills, ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- Ideally you will have worked as a bookkeeper at an accountancy practice previously but if not then as a bookkeeper in industry within a busy fast paced high-volume role.
