**Summary of the role**

**Purpose**:The person in this role will research digital security and identity content and trends in order to help write and develop content strategies. They will create content for a variety of business needs in both print and digital media, with special attention to Search Engine Optimisation strategies. This person will work closely with the Design, Product, and Sales teams to ensure that the content is engaging and consistent across all media platforms.

**Contractual hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Reports**: This role does not have people management responsibilities.

**Travel**: Occasional

**Flexible working**: We are hybrid working and would consider remote working with occasional office visits or other flexible working arrangements as long as you permanently reside in England.

**Main job responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Work with the Content Marketing Manager to help create content strategies, research trending topics, and write content for the various identity solutions and product lines GlobalSign offers.
- Ability to write, create and design content for multiple purposes and media types, including but not limited to blogs, webpages, videos, eBooks, whitepapers, social, webinars and campaigns.
- Tools used: Adobe Create Suite, GoTo Webinar, Genial.ly, Microsoft Office.
- Collaborate with members of Marketing, Product Marketing, Channel, Sales, other teams and freelancers, which might include other writers, designers and managers, to generate ideas and deliver a variety of content.
- Follow the GlobalSign branding and style guidelines and adhere to a company or project’s submission deadlines.
- Contribute to website content using the Concrete5 Content Management System (CMS) and monitor website traffic, keywords and landing pages in terms of SEO strategy and goals.
- Ensure that as a member of the team you are promoting the GlobalSign features, advantages and benefits products within the content (written, video, audio, etc.).
- Create and maintain internal/intranet site content for organisation, content, accuracy, and brand.
- Leverage data and insights from Product Marketing and Sales teams to inform content development.
- Support with producing high-quality, detailed and data-backed content reports which are presented to senior executives on a quarterly basis or as needed.
- Manage multiple congruent deadlines for a diverse range of products.
- Energise our audience and our company as someone who pushes all forms of marketing to be at its best.
- Responsibility for complying with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to information security and acceptable use, and for undertaking mandatory in-house company training as required.
- Undertake other job responsibilities and accountabilities within the remit of the job role as and when these may arise.

**Person specification**

Essential
- Sufficient amount of marketing-style copywriting experience.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of creative thinking and experience working in digital, print and video formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Writing for SEO using tools SEM-Rush, Moz, Google or similar.
- A team-first attitude and ability to see the value of even the smallest assignments for our brand.
- A passion for great work and the stamina to reach it.

Desirable
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Concrete5, WordPress, Joomla, etc.), and basic HTML
- Familiarity with various English grammar style guides such as Oxford, Chicago, AP or others.
- Presentation creation for use in sales presentations, webinars or videos.
- Ability to take complex ideas or technologies and simplify them for each targeted business segment and persona.
- Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding writing, proofreading, fact checking and editing skills.
