Transport Planner

Port Express is one of the UK's leading providers of Container Transport in the UK.
Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner role within our Southampton team.
The Role will involve the effective and cost efficient planning of our Container Fleet whilst adhering to our customer KPI's.
- Industry Experience in Container Transport Planning
- A Good Communicator
- A Team Player who can work when needed under pressure
- Flexibility - The Role involves an on call Rota System which will include weekends
- Competent Industry I.T skills i.e. TRUCKCOM / Microsoft or similar and a working knowledge of Port Booking Systems
- An Understanding of Current Transport Legislation and Drivers Hours
- CPC preferred but not essential
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

Social distancing guidelines in place, screened workstations, PPE, hand gel, hand washing facilities and on site hygiene facilities provided
