**Clerk of Works / Quality Manager for High-Value New Build Project**

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented professional looking for an exciting opportunity to aid in the completion of a prestigious new build project in South Ayrshire? We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Clerk of Works / Quality Manager to join our client on a 5-week contract basis immediately. If you have a keen eye for detail and hold a valid CSCS card, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:
As the Clerk of Works / Quality Manager, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough snagging and compliance checks on a high-value new build project. Your keen attention to detail will ensure that the construction meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Conducting daily inspections of the construction site to identify and record any defects, deviations, or issues.
- Collaborating closely with the construction team to address and rectify any quality-related matters promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate reports of site observations and progress.
- Verifying that all construction materials and methods meet the required standards.
- Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and progress.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Clerk of Works, Quality Manager, or a related role in construction projects.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Thorough knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the construction team and project stakeholders.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, ensuring all aspects of the project adhere to the highest quality standards.

**Contract Details**:

- Contract length: 5 weeks (with the possibility of extension depending on project requirements).
- Start date: Immediate.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Location: South Ayrshire.

This role can be worked PAYE or CIS.
