This well established organisation are renowned for their contribution to the power generation, renewable and sustainability market. Located in East Kilbridge, this side of the business is a smaller division on a much large international business. This in turnoffers a fantastic work environment, modern technology, a small close knit team and end to end development work
As a senior embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle from requirements stage through to testing. Working closely with multidiscipline teams you will work on emerging IoT and industrial charging technology utilising tools including;Embedded C, architecture, MATLAB / Simulink, Testing, Real time ARM core and DSP Microcontrollers, and much more
This opportunity is perfect for am embedded engineer who has an interest in the sustainability market to join a global business that will allow you to progress long term into more senior roles
The person;
- Senior Embedded Software engineer
- Experience in an industry such as medical, automotive, defence, semiconductor or Telcom.
- Embedded C experience
- Experience working from conceptual stage through to architecture & testing. (V-Model)
- Jenkins knowledge
- Looking to progress into a Senior or team lead role longer term
The role;
- Designing a range of Industrial Battery Chargers.
- IoT solutions
- End to end development through conceptual stage through to test and implementation
- Real time ARM core and DSP Microcontroller, Sensor and device integration, power electronics
- Test Driven Development, or Software Unit Testing, System integration testing, debuggers, bus analysers, and using lab equipment
- Working within a team of 4 developers
- Hybrid remote (3 days in the office / 2 days at home)
